An unusual wooden decanter, bound in leather, with a large wooden stopper. Made in Italy, and believed to date from the early 19th century, the leather has aged to just the right level but remains in tact. The imagery depicts a Royal Sardinian Army soldier standing proudly, with the writing ‘Esercito Piemontese (1822)’ below. A lovely and unusual decorative item.
The item may have some wear, including scratches / marks, in keeping with it’s age – please review the photos carefully and contact us for more information prior to purchase if this is of concern to you.
